Ange Postecoglou has provided a team news update ahead of tomorrow night’s match against  Crystal Palace during this afternoon’s press conference at Hotspur Way.

Postecoglou has enjoyed an impressive start to life as head coach in North London which has seen his remain unbeaten and have already gained 23 points from nine games in the Premier League following the recent 2-0 win over Fulham.

Victory at Selhurst Park would take Tottenham five points clear at the top of the table ahead of Manchester City who face Manchester United, while Arsenal host strugglers Sheffield United.

Spurs team news vs Crystal Palace

Yves Bissouma is available after serving a one-game ban, but is still facing the risk of a one-match ban should he pick up a yellow card at Palace which would rule him out of the derby against Chelsea which will see Mauricio Pochettino return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time since being dismissed by Daniel Levy in 2019.

Finding the back of the net has been a challenge for Palace in recent times, with just a single goal in their last four Premier League outings.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the clash against Roy Hodgson’s side.

The Australian revealed that Destiny Udogie will be assessed ahead of the match after coming off against Fulham, while Pape Matar Sarr, who was also replaced has recovered from a brief illness.

Postecoglou told the press (Charlie Eccleshare): “Pape is fine – bounced back 24 hours after the game. Bit of an illness but has trained well. Destiny we’re still going to assess.

“Davies missed Fulham with a knock – fair to say training teeters on the edge and he took a sore one. Everyone else has come through fine.”
