Ange Postecoglou has named his Tottenham Hotspur side which will take to the field in this evening’s Premier League clash against Crystal Palace.

Spurs head into the match at Selhurst Park knowing that a victory will take them five points clear at the top of the Premier League table ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal, who are also in action over the course of the weekend.

Can Spurs remain unbeaten in the Premier League?

Ange Postecoglou confirmed in yesterday’s pre-match press conference that Pape Matar Sarr has recovered from illness, while Ben Davies was also available following injury while Destiny Udogie was being assessed in the build up to the fixture having come off during the second half of the 2-0 win over Fulham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday night.

He told Football.London: “The two main ones from the other night are Pape and Destiny. Pape is fine, he bounced back sort of 24 hours after the game. He had a bit of an illness but has trained well.

“Destiny we are still going to assess. Obviously it is a short turnaround from the other night. We’ll have a look today, see how things go and make a decision after that. Everyone else has come through fine and is available.”

The big news is that Udogie has failed to recover in time for the match and misses out.

Tottenham’s total of 23 points from nine games is their second best at this stage of a top-flight campaign, bettered only by the 27 points they amassed in 1960-61.

This is who takes to the field in South London this evening:

Crystal Palace: Johnstone; Ward, Andersen, Guéhi, Mitchell; Hughes, Doucouré, Lerma; Ayew, Édouard, Schlupp.

Subs: Matthews, Mateta, Matheus França, Holding, Riedewald, Clyne, Rak-Sakyi, Richards, Ahamada

Tottenham: Vicario; Pedro Porro, Van de Ven, Romero, Davies; Bissouma, Sarr; Kulusevski, Maddison, Richarlison; Son.

Subs: Emerson Royal, Bentancur, Gil, Skipp, Dier, Højbjerg, Lo Celso, Forster, Johnson
